Then came the work

So I really enjoy putting off work until the day before it is due and never doing anything on Fridays and Saturdays. woot.

I hate how I can't read guys. At all. Or I just overanalyze. Or I'm just tired and kind of down because I have to read "The Ways of Taoism" in Schwartz. And study for Astronomy.

HOWEVER

not to get down or anything, because I am all about having joy no matter the circumstances. Joy on the other side of suffering and faith on the other side of doubt and all that jazz.

Things that have happened today that have made me laugh/happy:

1. It's Karri's birthday today! And on my desk right now I have a funfetti cake, a chocolate/cheerwine cake, 1/2 a biscuit, a bowl of cookies, and some orange cinnamin rolls. Let me once again reiterate my love for Karri and the rest of my roomates. Karri is always the one who cheers me up. Her friendliness to everyone really inspires me to be not so introverted sometimes and just be friendly.

2. Jane's life. It has again reverted to Una Mujer de Intriega because the two realities are colliding. Oh, irony of life.

3.the trials of a dancer:

Buggi87: i just auditioned for the nutcracker ballet - and the ceiling to the studio was really low, and i hit my head on the ceiling

4. waking up this morning. getting up wasn't much fun, but waking up was nice.

5. My anthropologie shirt. haha, that's so shallow but I really like it.

6. Talked to Rebecca and sounds like they had an amazing time yesterday at Global Impact. And the concerts were awesome. And how Luke hung out with the 6th graders. Oh, Lukas, don't be a pimp. (and because I know you read this, I'm also going to include the fact that I am sort of halfway through listening to the first cd. Your written review may happen before Christmas)

7. church was good. I'm glad I found one that I like. And the people who go there from GW are awesome. And I get to take the metro to get to it, so I feel very urbanite.



And now, instead of doing work, I'm going off to eat dinner with Karri and a few others for her birthday. And then we're coming back and eating cake.
